Track and Field is Wicked

What’s up guys. K, so first thing is I just want you guys to know in the last post I said I want more comments and views. What I meant was that I would like to have them, as a personal goal. I care about my blog quality and you guys more than the views. I just wanted to let you know that because a couple of you left me comments saying it’s alright to have low views and blah blah. Also take the poll to your right to select which one you want for a category in The (Melody) Awards.

So now you need to know what’s up with me? This week beginning on Monday to Thursday I had track and field tryouts for my school. Man, did they make us run! I tried out for sprinting (the other option was distance) and we did two 200’s (whole track), one 400 (whole track), and three 100’s (3/4 of the track) and about a mile for jogging/exercise.  So all together that was about 2 miles. But distance had a total of about 10 miles to do for tryouts! So this Friday (today) there was a paper taped up to the gym door wit the people who made it to the team. I was on the second half of the list that said I have to speak with Coach Kline or Coach Purnell so I did and they told me that I made it but we have something special to do since I and other people are on the half of the list. It’s probably to raise my grades up (which are B’s and a F). So I am excited! 😀 Here are some of my stats:

The 400 – Second Out of Three, 70 Seconds

The 200 – Second Out of Four, 31.5 Seconds

The 100 – First Out of Three, 11 seconds

1/2 a Mile – About 1.5 Minutes

For those stats I am a little above average for a sprinter! Whoo! I’m awesome… xD

Sorry to ask, but I am very curious, what class do you have the F in? XD
And yes, you are quite awesome! 😆

    Brett-
Math…. 😦 Lol, I can bring it up it’s just so low (67%) because I do half of my homework and the tests are so hard. I’m in pre-algebra too! I’m getting good grades since then though. 😀

Mm, maths is my bad mark too. Stupid maths!

Congrats for track. We don’t do track at my school… Sounds fun though. I’m a sprinter too. Absolutely hopeless over long distances, but i’m alright at sprints. Anyway, I wonder what this special job your coach has for you is… Hmmm

    Brett-
I know right, math is so hard and confusing. I wish I would be like an actor or an athlete, because they don’t need math, besides the basics. And distance is hard for me too. Dx

    Wow, you’re amazing 😀
I’m still debating whether or not I should try out this year b/c I know you run a lot in Track and I’m pretty lazy lol

I hate math too 😡 But strangely, I have a 95 in Geometry right now lol. But it’s only the beginning of the six weeks, so it’s bound to drop XD

    Brett-
Wha… How do you get a 95 in geometry? Isn’t that like friggin’ hard? And you must be in year round school, or maybe it’s ’cause your in Texas (I think) because here we’re in our like 13th week.

Oh, trust me, it is hard! It’s a miracle b/c I’m not even sure what’s going on in that class! So far, this is what my grades look like! My grades aren’t even consistent in that class lol! One day, I get a 100, the next, I get a 0 😆

My geom teacher is crazy. She gives HOMEWORK QUIZZES! Other teachers just give a completion grade, but she makes us take a hw quiz. She picks random problems from the homework, so if you decided to say “screw this, i’m not doing my hw” the night before, then you’re pretty much screwed, unless your table partner is kind enough to tell you the answers lol!
It’s like more F’s for me! So that grade that you’re seeing right now, probably won’t be like that by the end of the six weeks lol. I had an 84 last six weeks so yea…haha

    Brett-
Wow she is crazy! My teacher gives us completion grades but most of the time I don’t do them so the next day I’m praying to God someone will lend me there homework so I can copy it and 1/10 times I’ll get the paper. But your grades are good! Mine would be like A, C, C, F, D, A, and B! God, I’m either slow or lazy. Hopefully lazy. 😆 Teachers suck!

They do! Half the time, I don’t even finish my hw at home lol. I do the rest at school. Good thing I have geom 5th period 😀

    Brett-
Haha, my pre-algebra is 5th period too. I’m lucky I have enough time to copy someone’s homework.

I think math is okay, I just bomb (or what I call bomb XD) the tests. It’s my lowest grade this quarter. =/

    Brett-

Mine too. I just studied for my quiz tomorrow in math and it seems easy, but that’s what happens. I think it’s easy and try my hardest, then I bomb the quiz! Maybe I should check my answers when I’m done. Sigh!

It takes me about a minute to do a 100.

… But im a swimmer, im pretty sure the water is slowing me down 😉

    Brett-
No offense, but wow. 😆 At least your good at swimming, I can barely hold my breath for 10 seconds! But I love the water. :\

  8. March 7, 2010 at 7:03 PM

No offense, but wow? I was talking about swimming a 100, not running one. If i ran a 100, i would do it MUCH quicker.

    Brett-
    Oh! Haha, never mind sorry!

  9. March 8, 2010 at 4:55 AM

My swimming skills are tragic. I was in squad for a about 2 years and I was ok at it, and then I stopped and now I suck. Lol.

    Brett-
    I’m slow in the water… 😛
